With much simular conditions were on show to last weekend out at Clover Leigh, when Saturday afternoon saw members contested their September Monthly Medal Stroke event.

This month?s men?s metal trophy went to Peter Frecklington with nett 66 when he just edged the in form of late Graeme Bell with 67 points.

Brian Smith who was one of two visitors from the Boorowa Golf Club had the best nett result for the day when he beat Peter Freck to the second placing from a close count-back when they both recorded nett 66 a piece.

In the women?s side of the draw we saw Tania Baldwin win with nett 69 from Marie Bagnall next with nett 79 to be in the runner?s up position.

NTP?s going to Peter Freck on the twelfth with a close 1.7 metres shot for the men and to Tania for the ladies when she recorded a shot six metres of the cup on the sixteenth hole.

Gobbles to Peter Freck on the tenth with one and two going to Brian on the fourth and eleventh holes.

A birdie to Tania on the fourth and two too Peter Freck on the third and tenth holes respectively.

On Friday afternoon a nine hole Single Stableford event over the back nine was contested. Winning with a point score of 23 was Mick. He also took out the NTP, a gobble and as well as an eagle on the 157 metres par three twelfth when he scored his second Hole In One.

The club would like to congratulate Mick on this prestige achievement as those who play the game know, to record one is something special, any more is an unexpected but much hoped for bonus.

This coming Saturday at 12 noon the event for the round will be decided on the day.
