On Saturday afternoon in the fine conditions that have been on show for the last few weeks, members out at Clover Leigh contested a Single Stableford event.

Winning with a score that matched the day was the in form Graeme Bell with a fine 43 points to his credit.

The runners up position going to a count-back when three players recorded 34 point a piece when Peter Frecklington just edged Tania Baldwin and George Gerrard to the third placing.

NTP going to Tania on the eighth hole with a not so close 7.5 metres.

A gobble to Tania on the tenth, and Peter Freck who scored two on the sixth and seventh holes respectively.

Three birdies were to be found on the cards when Tania had one and Peter had two when they both converted their gobbles hole shots.

This coming Saturday at 12 noon the event will again be decided just prior to hit-off.
