With the weather conditions that were predicted for Saturday afternoon coming to fruition it did not deter but a few competitors from completing their round when a Single Stableford was held out at Clover Leigh. Winning with a modest score of 34 points was Tania Baldwin from Peter Frecklington next with 32 points to be in the runner?s up position. NTP going to Peter Freck on the sixteenth hole with a distant ten metres. A gobble each to Mick on the sixth and to Tania on the seventh holes respectively. A birdie to Tania on the seventh with one and also with one was Peter Freck, when he recorded his on the Betty Frecklington memorial ninth hole. On Tuesday last, an enthusiastic group contested a Stableford event when the winner for the round was the inform Peter Freck with a fine 41 points to his credit from Peter Bolton next with 36 points. NTP going to Peter Bolton on the third hole with a 2.78 metres shot of the cup. A gobble to Marie Bagnall on the last hole was the only one to be found on the cards. Peter Freck had two birdies on the sixth and fifteenth holes. This coming weekend starting on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m., a nine hole event will be contested. And the following day, Saturday at 12 noon, the June Monthly Medal Stroke event will be the go. Please don?t forget on Tuesday?s with a 10 a.m. tee time a eighteen hole event will be contested.
