On Saturday afternoon members once again at the Clover Leigh Golf Club had their Monthly Medal Stroke event held over by one week due to poor weather conditions. Winning the men?s side of draw we saw George Gerrard come to the fore with a nett 64 score to just edge Graeme Bell to the runners up position with nett 66. This month?s women?s medal winner was Tania Baldwin with nett 75. NTP?s going to Mick for the men on the eighth hole with a close 1.34 metres and to Tania for the ladies with 4.5 metres on the seventeenth hole. A gobble each to George and Graeme on the fourth and twelve holes respectively. Two birdies were to be found on the cards when Mick had his on the eighth and Peter Freck with his on the eleventh. This coming Saturday at 12 noon a Par Event will be the go. And on Sunday morning the second round of the Small Club?s Pennants and Stableford competition at Canowindra, with a 10 a.m. start. The following Saturday, May 24, the club will be holding their club?s qualifying round of this year?s NSW Men?s Fourball Champions with the first three qualifying pairs going on to play in the District Final at West Wyalong on July 13.
