In cool playing conditions on Saturday morning out at Clover Leigh, members contested a Single Stableford event. Carrying on from his winning form of last week, we saw Peter Frecklington win with a 42 point result.

Next best score going to Peter Bolton with 37 point to be in the runner?s up position.

NTP to Peter Freck on the fifth hole with a five metre shot.

Four gobbles were to be found on the cards when Peter Bolton had his on the second, Peter Freck?s on third, and on twelfth hole Reg and George both recorded one a piece.

There were three birdies for the round when Peter Freck snatched them all on the second, third and fifteenth holes respectively.

This coming Saturday the club will be hosting ?Ken?s Cup,? a Two Person Ambrose Select Partner?s event.

A 10 a.m. hit-off is planned with sausage sizzle lunch at halfway.

Ken?s family hope you can all make it to help us celebrate his memory and to enjoy a fun get together.

The following Saturday, April 5, the weekly competition will go back to regular hit-off time of 12 noon when the April Monthly Medal Stroke event will be contested.

And on Sunday, April 13, a loyal member is planning to sponsor a Three Person Ambrose event. This event is yet to be confirmed, so I will let you know in next week?s report if it?s goer on not.
