Overcast conditions made for great golfing weather out at Clover Leigh on Saturday morning when members contested a Single Stableford event.

Winning with a fine score of 41 points was Peter Frecklington from next best Mick, with 38 points to be in the runner?s up position.

NTP going to Peter Bolton on the seventh hole with a close 2.1 metres shot.

Three gobbles were to be found on the cards when all recorded one a piece to Peter Bolton on the first, Reg on the fifth and to Peter Freck on the seventh holes respectively.

A birdie to both the Peter?s when they recorded one each on the seventh hole.

This coming Saturday at 8 a.m., the event for the round will be decided just prior to tee-time.

On Saturday, March 29, the club will once again play host to ?Ken?s Cup,? a Two Person Ambrose Select Partner?s event.

A 10 a.m. hit-off is planned with sausage sizzle lunch at halfway.
