The heat was on once again out at Clover Leigh on Saturday morning when member contested their February, Monthly Medal Stroke event.

Continuing on from his form of last week when Mick came in with a nett score of 68 to win the men?s side of draw with Peter Frecklington next best with nett 69 to be in the runner?s up position.

The women?s medal winner was Maree Marland, who has been away from the game for a while with a nett score of 88. NTP for the men going to Peter Freck on the seventeenth with a 4.76 metre shot. There was no ladies NTP trophy awarded.

No gobble were to be found on the cards, but there was one birdie with this going to Peter Freck on the fifteenth hole in which he only just missed scoring an eagle by a few centimetres.

This coming Saturday, the event for the day will be decided upon just prior to hit-off at 8 a.m.
